These Training Terms and Conditions apply to training courses provided by Autel Australia Pty Ltd (“Autel Australia”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By submitting a booking request, paying a course invoice or attending an Autel Academy Australia course, the person making the booking and each registered attendee agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Booking Requests
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a place in a course.
All bookings are subject to:
- Course availability
- Receipt of complete and accurate attendee information
- Autel Australia’s acceptance of the booking
- Full payment of the applicable course fee
After reviewing the booking request, Autel Australia will issue an invoice with payment instructions if places are available.
A place is confirmed only after full payment has been received. Autel Australia may release an unpaid place if payment is not received by the due date shown on the invoice.
Course Fees and GST
Course fees are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated.
The course fee includes only the training, equipment, materials, refreshments and other items expressly listed on the relevant course page.
Travel, accommodation, parking and other personal expenses are not included unless expressly stated.
Payment
Payment must be made in full by the due date shown on the invoice.
A booking is not confirmed until cleared payment has been received by Autel Australia.
The person or organisation making the booking is responsible for ensuring that the invoice information supplied is complete and accurate.
Attendee Information
The booking contact must provide accurate and current information for each attendee.
Autel Australia must be notified as soon as reasonably possible if any attendee information changes.
Attendee substitutions may be accepted before the course, subject to:
- Prior written notice to Autel Australia
- The substitute attendee satisfying any course prerequisites
- Updated attendee and dietary information being provided
No additional fee will normally apply to an approved attendee substitution.
Customer Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to training.au@autel.com.
Refunds will be determined according to when Autel Australia receives the written cancellation request:
- At least 7 calendar days before the scheduled course start time: 100% refund of the course fee
- At least 3 calendar days, but fewer than 7 calendar days, before the scheduled course start time: 50% refund of the course fee
- Fewer than 3 calendar days before the scheduled course start time: no refund
- Failure to attend without prior written notice: no refund
For clarity, the cancellation period is calculated from the scheduled start time of the course.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where reasonably practicable. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Course Transfers
Autel Australia may, at its discretion, permit a confirmed booking to be transferred to another available Autel Academy Australia course.
Transfer requests must be submitted in writing before the scheduled course date. Transfers are subject to availability, course suitability and any difference in course fees.
Unless Autel Australia agrees otherwise, a request to transfer made fewer than 3 calendar days before the course may be treated as a cancellation.
Changes or Cancellation by Autel Australia
Autel Australia may make reasonable changes to a course where necessary, including changes to:
- Course content
- Schedule
- Instructor
- Venue
- Delivery arrangements
Autel Australia may reschedule or cancel a course because of low enrolment, instructor availability, venue issues, equipment issues, safety concerns or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
If Autel Australia cancels a course and does not provide a suitable alternative date, registered attendees will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee.
If a course is rescheduled, the booking contact may:
- Transfer the booking to the new date
- Request transfer to another suitable course, subject to availability
- Request a full refund if the attendee cannot attend the new date
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autel Australia is not responsible for travel, accommodation, loss of income or other indirect costs incurred because of a course change or cancellation. This limitation does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

All diagnostic tools, ADAS equipment and other equipment required for the course will be provided by Autel Australia unless expressly stated otherwise on the course page.
Attendees do not need to bring their own diagnostic equipment, ADAS equipment or laptop.
Attendees must:
- Use training equipment only as instructed
